Batch Generate Pipeline: a whole scene, from assets to video, in one run

Characters, locations and props first, then every shot image built from them, then video. One run on our servers, with the price shown before you start.

Generating a scene used to mean three trips: make the characters and locations, then the shot images, then the videos, checking each batch before starting the next. The Pipeline mode of Batch Generate does all three in one run, in the right order.

The pipeline runs three stages in order. Each stage feeds the next.

What it is

A pipeline run takes a project through three stages:

  • Assets: characters first, then locations, props and wardrobe.
  • Shot images: built from the asset pictures as references, so the same character looks the same in every shot.
  • Video (optional): each shot image becomes a clip.

It runs on our servers, not in your browser. Close the window, close the tab, come back later: the run goes on and its progress is waiting for you.

Why it helps

  • Consistency. Shot images are made only after the assets they use are ready, so every shot is grounded in the same pictures.
  • One price up front. Every stage shows its estimate and the window shows the total. Your balance is checked for the whole run before anything starts.
  • You stay in control. Run everything at once, or stop after each stage and review it first.

Step by step

  1. Open your project's timeline and press Generate in the toolbar. The Batch Generate window opens.
  2. Switch the mode to Pipeline ("Assets, then shot images, then video in one run").
  3. Choose how it runs: Full auto runs every stage without stopping; Step by step stops after each stage for review.
  4. Choose what to make. Missing only skips what is already done; you can also tick items one by one (All / None). Leave Video off if you want images only.
  5. Check the price per stage and the Total, then start the run.
  6. In Step by step, look through the finished stage and press Continue for the next one, or Stop run.

Changing an asset later

Not happy with a character? Press Regenerate on it. If finished shots already use that asset, you will see how many and can choose Regenerate dependent shots, so they pick up the new look, or Keep shots as they are.

Regenerating an asset offers to redo the shots that use it.

Tips and limits

  • A run shows its status: Running, Paused for review, Paused: not enough credits, Done or Stopped. After a credit pause, top up and press Continue.
  • Only the person who started a run can continue it or render more in it.
  • A run holds up to 400 items. A failed item is retried, up to 3 attempts.
  • Video models that fit the start frame in the browser (such as Seedance 2.5 image-to-video) are not offered for a batch run. Render those shots from the Shot Editor.
  • Agents can drive it too: the Creator Studio MCP has start_batch_pipeline, get_batch_pipeline, continue_batch_pipeline, cancel_batch_pipeline and regenerate_pipeline_item.
