Candidate Pipeline

Candidate Profile & CV Import (MCP)

Candidates manage a unified profile (full_name, phone, city, profession, bio + skills, work history, languages, portfolio, comp expectations) directly on the public.profiles row — no separate candidate table. The CV importer (PDF / DOCX / LinkedIn URL / plain text) feeds the profile via the cv_parser LLM, so candidates rarely fill anything by hand.

Role-Family Interview Templates (MCP)

7 interview templates — one per role family — each binding ~10-15 questions across phases (warm-up / core / role / drivers / inventory / practicalities). Maggie can bulk-populate vacancy-specific overrides via bulk_create_interview_questions; the seeded templates cover the common cases out of the box.

Candidate Assessment (org-only)

After every completed interview, a candidate_assessments row is auto-written: Big Five (from Likert items), hidden-drivers rank, departure-reason classification, burnout signals, derived strengths/concerns. Org-scoped (brand_id of the vacancy). Visible to Maggie + brand owners + admins ONLY — candidate never sees this surface.

Candidate Role Matches (cross-position reusability)

After interview, the candidate is reusable across the org. candidate_role_matches view auto-ranks every open vacancy against the candidate profile + assessment + demographics. Use the candidate_role_matches MCP tool to surface "you might also fit these N positions" to the candidate.

Legal disclaimer — demographics + assessments

candidate_demographics + the org-only fields of candidate_assessments (big_five, hidden_drivers, burnout, red_flags) MUST NOT be used as a discriminating factor under EU/EEA, UK, California, NY equal-opportunity law. They are stored for operational signal only.

About Talent Radar

What is Talent Radar

Talent Radar is a specialized recruiting and casting application within the ProMediaFlow platform, tailored specifically for the film, television, advertising, and digital media industries. It streamlines the hiring process by bringing employers and candidates together on a single matching system.

  • For Brands and Productions: Post open positions, manage applicants through a visual hiring pipeline, and find ideal candidates using automated matching and compatibility ranking.
  • For Candidates: Build a single, comprehensive profile, complete a one-time guided interview, and get automatically matched and ranked against all open roles without needing to re-interview for every job.

Three Kinds of Jobs

Vacancies on Talent Radar fall into three categories:

  • Company Hiring: Standard company-level hiring for internal staff.
  • Project Staffing: Casting and crew roles tied to a specific media production or project.
  • External Listings: Job opportunities compiled from other sites across the web. For these, candidates are redirected to apply on the original external site.

The Hiring Pipeline

Every application moves through clear, sequential stages: Applied → Shortlisted → Interview → Offer → Hired. Applications can also be marked as Rejected or Withdrawn at any point in the process.

Getting started

To access and start using Talent Radar:

  • As an Employer: Open the application and select the option to create a new vacancy draft. Choose whether the position is for an organization (requires linking your Brand), a project (requires selecting the specific Project), or an external listing (requires entering the source web URL). A vacancy remains a private draft until you change its status to Published, which makes it searchable by candidates.
  • As a Candidate: Access your profile screen to begin setting up your details. You can import an existing resume file or enter a LinkedIn URL to let the system automatically parse your details, or you can fill out the sections manually. Once your profile reaches at least 70% completeness, you unlock the single guided interview that makes you eligible for automated matching across all open jobs.

Note: AI-powered processes, such as smart resume parsing, consume platform credits.

Key capabilities

Candidate Role Matches (Cross-Position Reusability)

Once you complete your single guided interview, your results are reusable across the entire platform. Instead of re-interviewing for every job, the system automatically evaluates your profile details, interview responses, and demographic flexibility against every open vacancy to generate a blended compatibility score based on:

  • Skills overlap (50% weight)
  • Assessment fit (30% weight)
  • Flexibility (20% weight)

Candidates can instantly view a list of personalized suggestions showing other open positions on the platform where they might be a strong fit.

Recruiter Candidate Rankings

Employers can view a ranked list of candidates for any active vacancy. The system scores candidates based on their profession, physical location, availability for remote work, and how well their skills overlap with the job description. This dashboard shows recruiters exactly why a specific candidate is being suggested.

Profile Management & Smart CV Import

Candidates manage a single, comprehensive profile containing their full name, phone number, city, profession, bio, skills, work history, languages, portfolio links, and compensation expectations.

Instead of entering all of this manually, you can upload a resume file (PDF, Word, or plain text) or enter a LinkedIn URL. The smart importer automatically parses the document to populate your profile.

Role-Family Interview Templates

The platform features seven out-of-the-box interview templates designed for specific media industry roles:

  • Creative-Craft
  • Creative-Narrative
  • Operations
  • Technical
  • Performer
  • Sales/Business Development
  • Support-Operational

Each template guides candidates through 10 to 15 questions divided into logical phases, including a warm-up, core capabilities, role-specific scenarios, personal drivers, personality inventories, and logistical practicalities.

Custom Vacancy Questions

While the default templates cover most hiring scenarios, employers can override them by generating custom interview questions tailored specifically to a single vacancy. These questions can be created one by one or generated in bulk.

Private Candidate Assessments

Immediately after a candidate completes their guided interview, the platform generates a comprehensive private assessment. This includes a personality evaluation (covering the "Big Five" traits), a ranking of hidden career drivers, departure-reason classification (such as growth-seeking, escape-from, forced, or chronic-mover), and potential burnout signals alongside identified strengths and concerns.

This assessment is restricted entirely to authorized employers and administrators; candidates can never see these internal assessment metrics and are only shown their derived strengths.

Equal-Opportunity Guardrails

To ensure compliance with equal-opportunity laws in the EU/EEA, United Kingdom, California, and New York, demographic details and sensitive assessment analytics (such as personality metrics, hidden career drivers, burnout signals, and red flags) are strictly sequestered. These data points are stored for internal operational signals only and must not be used as a discriminating factor in any hiring decisions.

How to use it

For Candidates: Profile Setup & Applying

  1. Import Your CV: Open your profile screen, select the import option, and upload your resume file or provide your LinkedIn URL. The system will automatically extract your work history, skills, education, and language proficiencies.
  2. Complete Your Profile: Review the parsed information and manually edit or fill in any missing fields. Keep an eye on your profile's completeness percentage indicator.
  3. Take the Guided Interview: Once your profile completeness is at 70% or higher, click the button to launch your guided interview. This interview runs once and covers your primary role family and a quick personality questionnaire.
  4. Apply to Vacancies: Browse open jobs.
    • For External Listings, click the link to apply on the host website.
    • For Platform Listings, submit your application. You must provide mandatory GDPR consent to submit. If you apply anonymously without an active account, you must enter the 6-digit confirmation code sent to your email (valid for 15 minutes) to complete and verify the application.
  5. Review or Withdraw: You can monitor your application's status as it moves through the hiring pipeline. If you need to retract your application, use the unique withdrawal token provided to you upon your initial submission.

For Employers: Job Posting & Candidate Review

  1. Draft a Vacancy: Select the option to create a vacancy and fill in the required fields. You must provide a job title and select the appropriate scope (Organization, Project, or External) and input its required target (such as your Brand, Project, or Source URL).
  2. Publish: Review your draft. When ready, switch the status to Published to open the vacancy to applicants.
  3. Customize the Interview (Optional): Use the vacancy tools to generate custom questions if the default template does not fit your specific needs. You can generate these questions one by one or in bulk batches.
  4. Review Candidates: Open the vacancy's candidate dashboard to view the ranked list of applicants. Click on individual candidates to view their public profile and your organization's private assessment report.
  5. Advance Applicants: Move successful candidates through the pipeline stages (Applied → Shortlisted → Interview → Offer → Hired) as they progress.

Tips & notes

  • File Upload Limits: When uploading a resume, the file must be a PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), or plain text document, with a maximum size of 10 MB. The platform uses advanced file-type verification, so simply changing a file's extension will not bypass this check.
  • Anti-Spam Limits: Candidates are limited to submitting a maximum of 5 applications per hour and 20 applications per day.
  • Unlocking the Interview: You must reach at least 70% profile completeness before you can take the guided interview. Completeness is recalculated automatically whenever you update your profile.
  • Anonymous Application Code: The 6-digit email confirmation code sent to anonymous applicants is only valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, you will need to request a new one.
  • Draft Privacy: Vacancies in the Draft state are completely invisible to candidates. They must be moved to Published before they can be searched or receive applications.
  • External Application Redirection: You cannot apply directly on the platform for external listings. Attempting to do so will prompt you to apply on the original source site.
